Geomancy and Uranografia. How and what for to kiss a toad

We made three labyrinths and six fire-pits in Nikolo-Lenivets village and situated all these objects in the form of Conjuctio / Conjunction geomantic mark. This is my creative interpretation of the existing zodiacal system. There are two classical seven-volute stone labyrinths – right-involute, male and left-involute, female. In both cases the labyrinth key is marked with ten large rocks. The third labyrinth is a pavilion-kind labyrinth made from greensward, in a circle which is also marked with greensward on the north of our part of Ugra-project there is a Cap. This is our modification of a pavilion-kind labyrinth. A Cap is a north rock, a north point of key to a classical labyrinth. One of the most important ideas of this symbol is Middle of Heart, Heart of the World.  Entrance to this labyrinth is from the south side, in accordance with zodiacal Cancer (mass conchesness) but a visitor of the labyrinth goes to north, to the World pole and individualization center, to the center of Heart, which combines for a person the center of the Sky and the center of the Earth.
Labyrinth is an archetypical symbol from the earliest times. In the Middle Edges a trip via labyrinth considered to be similar to a pilgrimage and visiting of Holy Lands. It has been found that Peter I during his arrival to Bolshoy Zayatsky island with all the great and soldiers of Preobrajensky and Semenovsky regiments  in august 1702 ordered to build a wooden church on the island devoted to St. Andrew. There were twelve ancient labyrinths on the island that time and Peter I ordered to build the thirteenth at the same time with the constriction of the church. This labyrinth is a beginning of Saint-Petersburg.  St. Andrew flag was blessed there, then the fleet reached Neva-river outflow where in May 1703 Petropavlovskaya tower was founded.
The festival dates have luckily concise with Mayan New Year – so called beyond time day, 25/07/2010. Two other geomantic marks fell on these days. The first one is the geomantic rune   Fortuna Major/ Good Luck corresponds to the constellation of  Leon and the Sun. Another is the geomantic rune Conjuctio / Conjunction corresponds to   the constellation of Virgin and Mercury planet.
